The purpose of this blog

I've decided to create this blog to show teachers different types of Web 2.0 tools they can use with their students. As you will see, this blog has an educational purpose as it provides information for teachers and students. In other words, it is a tool for e-learning.

I find blogs very interesting because they facilitate communication between the reader and the owner of the blog. All the people who visit a blog can comment on the different entries and they can start up a discussion. What is really amusing is the fact that blogs can include images, links, and videos to support the information presented.

To conclude, bogs can create a social community environment.
